I recently threw a bridal shower at this beautiful Lakeside restaurant. I can't begin to tell you the support I received from the manager Rikki. She went above and beyond to make sure that the day was perfect, including meeting with me in person to go over the menu, decor, etc.,..down to running around with me the day of making sure everything was set up properly and on time. The food here never disappoints! The staff are always amazing. The owner, Rouz, is always so kind and welcoming that my husband and I go often for dinner and drinks. I knew this was the perfect place to throw a special shower for a special person. I would highly recommend zin bistro for a beautiful lakeside romantic dinner, a fun night at the bar, or a special event. And don't forget to put on your dancing shoes either because they have great bands on weekends. It's truly our favorite spot in Westlake.
We went here for our anniversary dinner and used a Groupon deal--originally $200, but I paid $130, which was a good value. We had calamari, bruschetta, and shared a tomahawk steak, with chocolate lava cake for dessert. The food was good but nothing spectacular. The restaurant was pretty empty when we arrived, with just one other family coming in before we left. Overall, it was a decent experience, but I probably wouldn't rush back.
What a wonderful dining experience! From walking in and being seated by the hostess Stevie, to the ambiance and lake view. The halibut was the tastiest I have ever had, the service was spectacular- Jaime is the best and so friendly! The owners walked around ro make sure we were enjoying ourselves, and just when I thought it the entire experience couldn't be better, a live band came on. I will definitely be back!

We came for a nice relaxing dinner and the ambiance was amazing. our server Jaime was very considerate and attentive. The hostess Stevie not only sat us but helped the entire team throughout the evening.
I'm here every night and I love it. The food is amazing, especially with the new chef, and the general manager, Noushie, is fantastic.
Went on Saturday night and sat in a large booth in the bar. Live bad was loud, but played good music. Service was attentive and all drinks, courses came out promptly except for the main course was a bit delayed. Positives: Food excellent, service accommodating, lots of room to stretch out. Negatives: Parking lot full and had to park a long way away, hard to find restaurant - poor signage, too loud.
This is a lovely spot by the lake with live music on the weekends. I would describe the menu as comfort food with a French flair. The portion sizes are hit or miss. Sometimes I like to order a salad as an entree, but the burrata salad here was so, so tiny. So, I added a pasta primavera, which was so, so big. Zin is very child-friendly. There is an $18 prix fixe kid menu that has all of the kid-friendly favorites (chicken tenders, mac and cheese, pizza, etc). It comes with a drink and a scoop of ice cream, and the portions are very generous! My two small kids could have easily split one of these entrees. I appreciated that the kid entrees came out quickly, but the adult entrees didn't come out quite a while later. The entire dinner took over 1.5 hours with no lingering whatsoever. Luckily, we weren't in a hurry, but I could imagine someone getting frustrated if they had plans or a movie to catch after dinner.
